About Winther Wackerhausen:

Textiles Built on History and Heart

Winther Wackerhausen was established in 2025 by Rosa Winther Denison and Trine Wackerhausen. The partnership was born from years of dedication to the fashion industry and a powerful, shared desire to apply that passion to the intimate sphere of the home. The founding came at a time when we recognized the opportunity to shift our decades of textile passion from the fast-paced fashion world to the enduring, intimate sphere of home design.

Having worked for years with the creation and tactility of fine fabrics, we found ourselves drawn to the potential of the home - a canvas for textiles that should offer comfort, beauty, and permanence.

A Dedication to the Sensory and the Sustainable

Our brand exists in the harmonious space where artistry meets functional design. Our mission is simple: to craft textile elements for the home that are so unique and well-made, they are cherished and passed on through generations.

We define our style by harmonizing the lightness and sophistication of Parisian elegance with the rich, textured warmth found in classic English textiles—resulting in a draped, inviting look that instantly elevates a space.

Guided by a respect for resourcefulness, we confront the industry's material surplus by working primarily with deadstock textiles—high-quality surplus fabrics from the fashion world that deserve a second life. Our production prioritizes Danish manufacturers whenever possible, and we collaborate closely with skilled European makers. This commitment ensures that every Winther Wackerhausen piece supports a more responsible, circular design approach, upholding our core value that less is enough.
