Description

The Wave Shower Curtain is defined by its diagonally-rippled textile, offering a dense composition that ensures an exquisite, heavy drape. This creates a clean, structured silhouette in your bathroom. Its wavy edge is hugged by our signature folded Petersham ribbon, providing an elegant finish. The fabric is water-repellent, offering effortless style and function.

Please be advised that this textile is characterized by a natural expansion of approximately 10% upon saturation with water, followed by a corresponding shrinkage of roughly 10% upon desiccation. This behavior is inherent to the weave structure.

 

The curtain includes a functional wave tape, allowing easy hanging on both a rail with hooks or a standard rod with rings. It is available in two standard measurements, and can also be made to order upon request.


The Wave shower curtain is also available for custom order in a variety of textiles selected from other shower curtain designs, allowing for a truly bespoke interior look. Please contact us at studio@wintherwackerhausen.com if you have a special request.

Care

Crafted from a premium polyurethane and finished with a soft polyester trim, this curtain is designed to remain elegant with gentle care. Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and low spin. Avoid fabric softener, bleach, tumble drying and high heat, as these may damage both the main fabric and the trim.

After washing, hang the curtain up immediately in a well-ventilated area to air-dry naturally. Between uses, allow it to hang fully extended so it can dry thoroughly and maintain its natural drape. If needed, a low-heat press may be used on the main fabric — avoid ironing directly on the trim.

Shrinkage
The linen blend may naturally shrink by approx. 2–3% after the first wash. This is normal for linen fabrics and does not affect the functionality of the curtain.
